The International Shotokai Federation and the Shotojuku Honbu Dojo
came out in full force to support Sensei Elrakabawy.

Sebastian Acosta's Kata was very strong and sharp but he was so powerful that his shoulder dislocated.
He place 2nd in Black belt Kata. He is going to learn from this experience and Shihan Leung was very empressed with his Kata.

The Shotojuku Honbu Dojo came out in full force to support Sensei Elrakabawy.
Shotojuku Honbu Dojo brought 15 officials and 20 competitors to help out and we came home with more experience and 28 Championship Medals.

Our children marched in with our dojo flag in the opening ceremony.

We are proud of Jaqueline Soto and her son Eric Soto for competing. They really enjoy Karate and it shows in there hard work at the dojo.
Kassandra Cruz and the Egyptian Kata Champions
Kassandra Cruz's excellent Superinpei Kata took her to the finals. She went up against two Egyptians and one AAU kata champion and did great in the finals.
Carlos Lora and Egyptian Kata Champion
Carlos Lora was runner up for the Grand Championships in Kumite. He did a great job represent our dojo and we are proud of him.
Tournament Officials and Champions
Elite Egyptian Sensei from the East coast were present
and several members of the Egyptian National team competed.
The Egyptian Team members added to the international presence of this tournament.

Sensei Mohssen Hassan came from North Carolina. His students did an excellent demonstration of self defense for the opening ceremony. We learned a lot and look forward to next year's event.
