On December 7, 2007, Shihan Kai Leung and Shotojuku Members went to see Davi Santos, staring in the annual school-wide Musical (City of Angels) at the (LaGuardia Performing Arts School) Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Art’s theatre.

Davi Santos is a senior drama major at the Performing Arts School, made famous by the Movie FAME and its many famous alumni. Some of the famous alumni are Al Pacino, Jennifer Aniston, Adrien Brody, Wesley Snipes, Vanessa Williams, Billy Dee Williams, and Liza Minnelli just to name a few.
Davi Santos made his LaGuardia debut in HAIR. He attended the Professional Performing Arts School, where he appeared in GODSELL and INTO THE WOODS. A former member of The NYU Shakespeare Youth Ensemble, he has played Touchstone in AS YOU LIKE IT, and he is currently involved in the Angelus Theater Company’s production of BETWEEN THE SEAMS.
He has made television and commercial appearances for Macy’s The Discovery Channel, Court TV, and MTV.

He also enjoys commercial print and holds a second degree black belt in Shotokan Karate from Shihan Kai Leung.

We really enjoyed the show and Davi Santos did a great job acting, singing and dancing. The Shotojuku Dojo is very proud of his accomplishment and can’t wait for his next project.
