Shihan Errol Bennett, a student of Master Tsutomu Oshima Shotokan Karate of America recently joined the New York Traditional Karate League. NYTKL founders Shihan Georges Aschkar, Shihan Cleveland Baxter, Shihan Cedric Barksdale, Shihan Kai Leung and Shihan Herb Wiles assisted at his first traditional karate championships, held at the Louis Armstrong Activity Center in Corona Queens, New York.

Eric Soto won first in Kata and 3rd in Kumite

Shidoin Jaqueline Soto officiated and participated in the competition with her son Eric Soto. Jaqueline Soto place first in kata and kumite and won the Women's Warriors Cup trophy.
